Alumni Pack Walk at Hollywood Cemetery
Join us for a leisurely walk through one of Richmond’s most beautiful and historically significant places. Established in 1847, Hollywood Cemetery is the resting place of Presidents James Monroe and John Tyler. Its winding paths, stately trees, and views of the James River make it a lovely setting to slow down and take in a little of Richmond’s history together.
This alumni walk will be easygoing. We’ll give the dogs time to sniff and explore while practicing calm leash walking as a group. Walking near other dogs without needing to greet them is valuable social work: it helps each dog notice their surroundings, stay connected to their human, and grow more comfortable in shared spaces.
There’s no rush and no pressure to make every moment a training exercise. Come enjoy the scenery, spend time with your dog, and reconnect with your 2SpeakDog community. Because Hollywood Cemetery is an active cemetery, we’ll move through the grounds with care and respect.
Once you’ve graduated Intermediate I, you’re officially part of the 2SpeakDog Alumni Crew and we’d love to keep teaching with you! Our Alumni Class is designed for teams who want to stay sharp, keep practicing, and enjoy new adventures together.
You can join individual workshops à la carte or save by purchasing an Alumni Bundle. Classes rotate between RVA field trips (parks, trails, dog-friendly environments) and focused specialty workshops that reinforce advanced obedience and real-world skills.
