Alumni Recall Workshop: Beyond “Come When Called”
This isn’t your everyday “come when called” workshop. We’re going to make recall a little more playful and… a lot more meaningful.
A reliable recall begins before you say a word. Does your dog check in with you? Notice when you change direction? Want to follow when something else has their attention? We’ll explore those questions through movement games, unexpected changes of pace, and exercises that invite your dog to choose connection with you.
We’ll work on timing, body language, and how you respond when your dog is distracted. Instead of repeating “come” louder, you’ll learn how to make returning to you feel clear, rewarding, and worth choosing. Expect a few surprises, plenty of laughs, and useful insight into what helps your dog stay engaged when the world gets interesting.
Please bring three levels of treats your dog enjoys: low value, medium value, and high value. Even a TOY. We’ll use them to explore how motivation changes with the environment and how to reward your dog for the choices they make.
This alumni workshop is about building a relationship your dog can rely on, even when the world gets interesting.
Once you’ve graduated Intermediate I, you’re officially part of the 2SpeakDog Alumni Crew and we’d love to keep teaching with you! Our Alumni Class is designed for teams who want to stay sharp, keep practicing, and enjoy new adventures together.
