2SD Mother’s Day Pack Walk

There’s no better Mother’s Day gift than quality time with your dog. Join 2SpeakDog for a special Mother’s Day Sunset Pack Walk beginning at Chimborazo Park and walking through historic Church Hill to the beautiful sunset overlooks of Libby Hill Park.

This structured community walk is designed for dogs of all personalities and experience levels. Our focus is on calm walking, confidence building, engagement with handlers, and practicing successful real-world social experiences in a supportive environment.

This is not a dog meetup or free-for-all playgroup.

This structured community walk is designed to create calm, connected experiences for both dogs and humans. Whether your dog is outgoing, easily distracted, still building confidence, or simply benefits from guided social exposure, these walks help dogs practice moving through the world in a more thoughtful and balanced way.

Our focus is not on dogs interacting with one another, but on creating a calm group environment where dogs can learn to walk successfully alongside other dogs and people while staying connected to their handlers. The goal is confidence, engagement, neutrality, and relationship building, all while enjoying one of Richmond’s most beautiful sunset views.

Pack Walk Requirements

• Standard 4-foot leash required

• One dog per handler

• No retractable leashes

• Prefer no adverse tools, such as prong collars, or E collars

• Vaccine records and client information must be on file prior to attending

While not required, we strongly encourage completing Walking Workshop Levels I and II prior to participating in a Pack Walk.
