New Year, New Strides — 2SD Pack Walk on the Canal Walk

Step into the New Year the 2SpeakDog way!

Leash up and join the 2SpeakDog crew for a New Year Pack Walk starting at Greater Shiplock Park and moving along the beautiful Canal Walk—a perfect setting for structured movement, real-world distractions, and calm connection.

This on-the-move workshop focuses on helping your pup:

• Stay calm and neutral around other dogs

• Tune in to you in stimulating environments

• Build confident, polite pack-walk manners

• Practice focus and engagement while moving through the world together

  We’ll walk with intention, emphasizing controlled movement, handler awareness, and calm decision-making. Along the way, we’ll stop at a local establishment for optional socialization and real-world exposure for dogs that are ready for it. From there, we’ll finish our walk together, closing out with relaxed pack socialization to welcome the New Year.

  As always, participation is dog-dependent and choice-based—there’s no pressure to do every portion. Success is meeting your dog where they are and building from there.

  Meeting details and a pin drop will be shared so everyone finds the pack with ease.

While not required, we strongly encourage completing Walking Workshop Levels I and II prior to participating in a Pack Walk.
