Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep Course - Fall Session.

All classes will be held on Saturdays 10:30AM at Stony Point fashion Park and various other RVA locations.

    •    Week 1: Saturday, Sept 6 – Kickoff Class @ 2SpeakDog

    •    Week 2: Saturday, Sept 13 – Location TBD

    •    Week 3: Saturday, Sept 20 – Location TBD

    •    Week 4: Saturday, Sept 27 – Mid-Semester Evaluations @ 2SpeakDog

    •    Week 5: Saturday, Oct 4 – Location TBD

    •    Week 6: Saturday, Oct 11 – Location TBD

    •    Week 7: Saturday, Oct 18 – CGC Evaluation @ 2SpeakDog

    •    Week 8: Saturday, Oct 25 – Location TBD / Graduation Celebration Brunch 🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓

Important Info:

This is an outdoor, on-the-go class held at different locations around RVA. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Always bring water for your dog.

Finalized locations will be emailed to enrolled participants prior to each class.

Who Should Enroll:

    •    This course is designed for dogs that have completed 2SpeakDog’s Intermediate Levels I & II.

    •    New to 2SpeakDog? Contact us about a required 45-minute evaluation/training session to ensure this class is the right fit for your pup.

  •    My dog has got the chops - If you think your dog can pass the CGC without the class, contact us and we will enroll you just for evaluation day.

What You’ll Learn:

This advanced class focuses on preparing for and passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine (CGCA), and Urban CGC (CGCU) evaluations.

Evaluations for CGC, CGCA, or CGCU will take place during the final class, based on your dog’s readiness and skill level.
