Initial consultation Lesson

Kasey will work with you and your dog on unwanted behaviors. She will then be able to recommend a curriculum that best suits you and your pup's needs. This could include additional private lessons, one of our workshops, and/or an obedience class.

Lesson includes a complete initial consultation with dog’s history, a new daily schedule, behavioral modification strategies and expectations for improvements. The consultation will set goals that will match you and your dog’s individual lifestyles and personalities.

Lesson typically runs approximately 2 hours. Follow up hourly lessons are also available in discounted packages and current clients receive priority scheduling.

Initial consultation - Puppies under five months

Kasey will come to your home and take a history, set goals, prioritize and get started teaching. She will cover strategies to handle puppy behaviors (such as puppy biting, escalation, feeding rituals, nutrition, appropriate play and exercise, crate and potty training) as well as working on behavioral training specific to your pup's needs. After Kasey has had time to work with your pup and get a good assessment, she will then be able to recommend an on-going training curriculum customized for you and your pup. This could include additional private lessons, one of our workshops, and/or obedience classes.

in-home obedience lessons

While we do believe basic obedience training is best in a group setting where dogs will learn to work around other dogs and people with varying levels of distractions, we also realize there may be extenuating circumstances (more than just a busy schedule) or physical limitations that may keep you from attending class in person.  If this describes you, please contact us to discuss in-home obedience training options.

New Baby Preparation

Kasey Herrera, our Master Trainer and Behavior Specialist, will come to your home as part of your family's preparation for the new baby. She will help guide you through the first introduction of your new baby to your pup. Kasey will consult with you and your family to identify and manage your expectations of your dog’s behavior around the baby as he/she grows and becomes mobile through walking.

New Baby Preparation appointments are on an hourly basis.

Check out our Dogs + Babies Workshop, too!

Follow Up Hourly Lessons

After an Initial Consultation/Private Lesson, Kasey may suggest a follow-up hourly appointment to review, assess your pup’s progress and to teach you additional behavior techniques.
